I've just added a stage show video clip. You can view it in the video area here

Over the past couple of months I have done alot of work for Orrcon Racing entertaining their guests in their corporate boxes in Brisbane, Melbourne and Bathurst as we cheer on their V8 cars. They are currently auctioning off a poster I drew at Bathurst in the pit area of all the V8 drivers with all proceeds to Wildlife Warriors (Steve Irwin's charity). You can view the poster at www.orrconracing.com.au

Last weekend I opened the International Stars of Magic Show at the Willoughby Civic Centre. It was a good night and I met some great people. Photos coming soon.

A busy end to the month with team building workshops, two trade shows, a stage show and roving caricature and magic entertainment. Also Channel 7 have invited me onto a new TV show called "Australia's got Talent". It should be a bit of fun.

Christmas - my favourite time of year, seems way off so far, but the bookings are already coming in!!

June 2006

This year has been a huge year so far entertaining with caricatures and comedy magic at events throughout Australia. This includes interstate trips to Melbourne (five times already) and next month at V8 supercars in Queensland.

EVENT ORGANISERS: Next month you can see Brad at RSVP Event (www.rsvpevent.com.au) where his new stage show will be unveilled.

Number of Events: Brad Wightman (Owner of Red Faces) entertained at over 120 events throughout Australia and New Zealand during 2005.

Best Gig: Anything that involves overseas travel for an event - so the experience of being hired to draw at the 10th Anniversary of the Pacific International Hotel Management School in New Zealand was the highlight. Here are some photos from the event:

"Now that our 10th Anniversary celebrations have drawn to a close, may I thank you most sincerely for your delightful 'entertainment by caricature' at the 10th Anniversary function. You generated much fun and delighted those present with permanent reminders of a special celebration! Many results are proudly displayed around the School already."
Tony Gray, Chief Executive
Pacific International Hotel Management School, May 2005

Largest Event: Red Faces entertained 800 people at the NSW Small Business Awards with 8 caricature artists.

"You guys were absolutely fantastic." Ron Wilson, MC of the night (Channel 10 news)

Smallest Event: Drawing at a corporate function for Source One (they had eight staff and four guests) at their Christmas Party at Level 41 Restaurant.

Biggest Charity Night: On 4th of November 2005 Brad drew at two functions. He drew a table of Rugby League greats - Terry Lamb, Chris Anderson and then League immortals Johnny Raper, Graeme Langlands and Reg Gasnier. Drawings were signed and auctioned for charity.

Next stop was a gala dinner where Brad was hired for Sydney Oncology Department (www.ocf.com.au) for the evening. A complimentary poster Brad drew for the department sold under auction for $2,000.00. (Below: that's not the poster, just a couple who Brad drew on the night).

Richest CEO drawn:
Alan Moss (CEO Macquarie Bank) who Brad drew at the Macquarie Bank Executive Christmas Party. BRW states that his yearly income exceeds $18 million.

Largest Crowd Entertained: At the Macquarie University Open Day where Brad drew projected caricatures.

Funniest Person: Definitely Vince Sorrenti who Brad drew at the Woolworths Exhibitor Trade Show.

Largest Wedding: Brad drew at a Lebanese wedding with 750 people present (lucky they all didn't want to be drawn!).

The night with the Biggest Smiles: Brad drew at the Hotel Management Awards night. Award winners or not, everybody had huge smiles! The MC, Tony Squires (from Channel 7) invited Brad onstage infront of 350 people where he described the audience as "a cartoonists dream!".

"Hi Brad, Just wanted to thank you for doing such a great job last Thursday!
Everyone has said how fantastic they thought you were. Thanks again!"
